Agent Empire

How the game works

A short guide to the systems behind the simulation.

Starting your agency

You begin with a small office, a modest balance and no reputation. Pick the city you work from — living costs, office rent, network reach and starting visibility all differ, and that choice follows you for the rest of the career.

Your first clients are unknown youngsters. Nobody famous will sign with an agency that has no track record, so early progress comes from finding talent before anyone else does.

Scouting

Your scouting network decides which players you ever hear about. Each country has its own youth pool and its own productivity, so a strong network in one nation does not help you in another.

Reports are not certainties. A short assignment gives a wide error margin; a long one narrows it. Scout quality is shown in stars, and a higher-rated scout judges both ability and potential more reliably.

Potential is a ceiling, not a promise. A player rated for 90 only gets there if his career is managed well: minutes, club level, coaching and morale all matter.

Transfers and negotiation

Clubs publish official lists at the start of each transfer window and act on real squad needs, budget, league strength and player profile. If a club is short at centre-back, that is what it will pay for.

At the negotiation table you agree wage, contract length, signing fee, commission, payment schedule and clauses such as release fees and sell-on percentages. Granting clauses lowers the fee; demanding signing money raises it.

Your client has his own priorities. Playing time, ambition, loyalty and the club's project all affect whether he accepts, regardless of the money.

Owning a club

You can buy shares in any club in the world. Reach a majority and you can run for the presidency; win it and the club's budget, squad, facilities, academy, staff and sponsorships become yours to manage.

Club ownership is scored separately from agency work, so building a club over many seasons is its own long-term goal.

The season

A season runs 52 weeks with transfer windows at the start, mid-season and end. Matches, international breaks, continental cups and board reviews all sit on the same calendar.

At the end of each season an awards ceremony reviews the champions, the individual winners and the state of the football world before the next season begins.

About the data

Every club, player, competition and sponsor in Agent Empire is fictional and generated by the game. The simulation is not affiliated with, endorsed by or licensed from any real club, league, competition or player.
